Imagine playing operations on Omaha Beach or The Battle of Kursk. I think it was appropriate to bring a WW2 game to life with the frostbite engine.

I'm okay with this also (even though I loved BF Vietnam and was really excited it might be an option).
Where I think they should go is
WWII
A combination of Cold War ie. Korea and Vietnam. DLCs could be the tiny skirmishs
War on Terror
Slightly futurist (against China or something)

The Battle of Kursk.
I’d kill for a good eastern front wwii game. The western front is so overplayed. Oh look. Normandy. Oh look. Market garden. Oh look. The race to Berlin.
How about op Barbarossa? Op blue? Kursk? Stalingrad?
Let me play as Ivan going house to house killing nazis with my fists and smashing heads in with chunks of concrete.
Let me wipe out army group center.
