It makes sense that you would abruptly conclude an investigation into a campaign/candidate upon him/her winning a party primary and entering the general election campaign.
Don't tax bucknut. He has a hard time connecting the dots

Yet, somehow they were out to get the candidate whose information they withhold to help the the candidate whose information they released?
Both of these happened at exactly the same time, relating to candidates nominated for exactly the same office. Do you believe both statements are correct? Does it not seem at all suspicious to you? Comey himself laid out his motivations for quickly ending, then "reopening" at the last minute the investigation. And it had everything to do with the expected outcome of the election and the desire to hide any political/partisan motivations involved in those decisions.

cognitive dissonance is a strong drug.

They exonerated her twice (2x), with record speed
Yet here we are 2 years later, still zero evidence, and they cant seem to let go of Trump

Did they get a guilty 'thank you' as well?

I am not surprised you spew complete and utter horseshite. Her use of a private email address came to light in 2012. She was cleared in 2016. that is four years.

I agree. You are both ignoring the pretty brazen statements made by Comey that explains his thinking and should make clear the point you and buckeye are struggling with.

quote:So let me get this straight:
Don't tax bucknut. He has a hard time connecting the dots
1. They start a witch hunt against Trump when he become the major candidate for the presidential election in order to damage him.
2. They don't do anything with that information to prevent him for winning that election.
3. They instead release damaging information right before the against his opponent when Comey announced the reopening of the investigation AND McCabe illegally leaked information about the Clinton Foundation.
4. Hillary loses support after the damaging information, making the probability Trump winnning the election much greater than before.
5. They still don't release the information.
6. Trump wins the election and will now have power over the agencies that were witch hunting him to reveal their misdeeds.
I don't get it.

Is that outside the statute of limitations for treason?

they did. Why just lie?
they never thought she'd lose.
I remember you, like a floundering leWalk last night, stumbling around parroting Nate Plastic like he was some arbiter of truth

quote:Even putting Comey aside, since it wasn't improper, remember McCabe got fired for illegally leaking (and then subsequently lying about it) because he released information about the ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation on 10/30/16, about a week before the election.

to punish him.
how dare he think he was good enough to challenge them. they would have run a sham kangaroo court and bankrupted him and his children and had him jailed for daring to think he could run for office.
Seriously, how out of touch with reality are you?

Ask Strzok. I think he called it an insurance policy.

And then their insurance policy was to release it AFTER Trump became the most powerful person in the world, the boss of the agencies who were committing this misdeeds with ultimate access to find it?
That is just asinine.

quote:Some punishment. He's still the most powerful person in the world, and likely in the only position immune from criminal prosecution, especially with his own party having the majority in both houses of congress.
to punish him.
quote:I'm in the reality where Trump won and became their boss, which makes that dirt they were trying to dig up, much less valuable, and it makes them far more likely to get caught and punished themselves. WHICH HAPPENED IN REALITY.
Seriously, how out of touch with reality are you?

It's really not. We aren't making up their words. What do you think they were doing? You're passively arguing they were HELPING Trump while brushing aside factual evidence that makes that truly asinine.

No, frickstick, their plan was to find something. Sadly for them it didn't happen. Comey said himself he never thought the info on Hillary could possibly hurt her chances.
