Booty - 6th Round, no NFL statistics.
Davey - 4th Round, 7 games played. Player of the year in NFLE though.
Mauck - 7th Round, 2 games played/1 start.
Russell - 1st Round, 25 starts.
Flynn - 7th Round, 53 games played/7 starts.
Mettenberger - 6th round, 14 games played/10 starts.
Etling - 7th Round.

Not much to brag about when the best QB to come out over those 20 years was a career backup. Miami of Ohio may not have had 7 QBs drafted in the last 20 years, but one of theirs is way better than LSU's 7 combined.

They were still worthy enough to be on an NFL roster. Do you not understand how hard it is to make it to the league? To even be good enough to be considered is nothing to sneeze at. Not every college sends QBs to the pros every year.

The best QB Bama has had in that same time span has been nothing more than a backup thus far. Does the fact that AJ McCarron, John Parker Wilson, Brody Croyle, Jake Coker, and Greg Mcleroy didn't amount to much in the league diminish what they did in college?

The only QB from USC to have a consistent career as a starter has been Carson Palmer. Leinart, Sanchez, Barkley, and John David Booty didn't make it either.
