What’s it usually take to get in the FL am?
You’ll do fine. Just get your putting and chipping in line and relax. Couple drinks always helps too!

74 (par 72) got in last year at the site I am playing at next week.
I'm not a long hitter, so hitting from ~7000 yards does hurt a bit. I try to pick my battles and work on distance when I can. I've only been playing seriously for just a bit over two years, so I know it'll all come along. I was happy about my 82 at the Mid-Am qualifier considering it was the week of my wedding and I made 10 bogeys and didn't have a blow up hole, my chipping and putting were great, but only hit 5 greens that day.
The goal is always to hit at least 9 greens, which I do regularly in casual rounds, but tournament rounds are just so different, which is why I am trying to take advantage of playing in more tournament conditions this year... and may take a stab at qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Am if I am playing well at the end of the summer.
