You didn't read my entire post, did you? Most of what you wrote is a myth.
They eat a ton of sweets. Ice Cream for example. They order french fries with mayonnaise on them. They smoke and all of them smoke like freight trains. We are WAY ahead of them in the nonsmoking trend.

Is this just your observation over a week of vacation? That’s not exactly “science”
I mean if you hypothesis is true what are you implying? They have superior genetics?

They eat differently for one. Their big meal is in the middle of the day and ours is at the end of the day....that has to have some sort of effect. Also, in France, particularly, they really don't drink milk the way we do. Basically they stop allowing their kids to drink cow or goats milk after age 7...they might use milk or cream in sauces, but nit so much to drink, and in the cities they walk more even if they are using public transport
