Should be in the Rock & Roll HoF. There I said it, What we were all thinking.

Achieved massive success in the 80s using an old school 50s/early 60s rock & roll foundation. This at a time when synth rock/pop and flock of seagulls hairstyles were all the rage.

They had like 1 hit album and a handful of catchy but mostly forgettable songs

A good buddy of mine, Patrick, loves them. He works in mergers and acquisitions for some Wall Street corporation. Pretty cool guy. Great taste in business cards.

If “Stuck With You” doesnt put you in a good mood, then you have no soul.

First song I ever heard the organ. Got good background vocals, half time, and a key change.

Frick I’m in.

They're great live. I recommend going if they have a show near you.

I recommend being up on recent developments. Like the fact that Huey is going deaf and the band has a fork in them.

I saw that. Very sad, especially for someone that lives a life of music. Sucks bad.

Oh that’s right they had 2 hit albums, my bad and I need to some proof they had 19 top 10 songs, wiki says 12 and they are still mostly forgettable

Hardly RNR HOF worthy

H-Town, sorry man, but you are wrong on this.

Not to mention their do-wop albums that sold to an entire different audience. This band is incredibly talented, and successful.

They were a stable throughout the entire decade of the ‘80’s.

Whatever man

You’re clearly a fan which is cool but for such massive success they are still at best an after thought today because the songs while catchy are forgettable musical saccharine

Heart and Soul is good, but this is actually a cover of the original by Exile.

"Power of Love" is right up there with "Love Bites" by Def Lep and "Rag Doll" by Aerosmith as a tune from mid to late 80s that radio tried to bill it as band's best single...and it was their worst of date.
