That was exactly my point. People are letting the media redefine these terms to make true liberals look like social justice warriors which is far from the truth. There is nothing more American than the true liberal, or as Scruff says, "a classic liberal", which is why I think the powers that be are using the media to portray liberals as whack jobs to make anyone the true liberals look like dipshits.

This is why we do not need to let the media redefine these terms so that it can fit into their agenda. Like true republicans are supposed to be for less federal govt and more state rights, but it most republicans today are not like that. Also we have already seen this time and time again, that most politicians are representing corporate American rather than the citizens that they are supposed to represent (those who elect them). But
