It's a little more than a month away, I wanted to know who's your favorite and who's your darkhorse...

I think France is the best team and the favorites, they have 3 different 11s that could at least make the semis.

My darkhorse is Belgium, although I think their profile has been raised of late.

not really much of a dark horse.

I'll go with England as Dark horse, and Im taking Brazil to win it.

They have the forwards, MD, and goalies. That back line is way too sketch.

I’ve tried not to think about it much. It’s just depressing that we aren’t going to be in the tournament. Caught myself watching reaction videos from 2014 last week.

“What about that! It’s John Brooks”

“Ohhh...YES! Jermaine Jones! What. A cracker. From him”

Just seeing the entire country come together and pack bars and town squares from Key West to Seattle and all points in between to cheer their arse off for a common cause. The patriotism and comraderie displayed. Summer 2014 was an absolute blast. To think we will be deprived of that this summer due to a combination of arrogance, entitlement, and ineptitude from the top all the way down to the core leadership of the actual squad. It’s just fricking maddening tbh. Still seems like a bad dream.

Man-for-man it’s probably one of the best in the tournament though. Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Kompany, Meunier...it’s not a group lacking in talent or experience. They’re just inconsistent and never struck me as a group that played well enough as a team to win a big tournament.

They don't have a true LB except for Jordan Lukaku, which limits their attacking shape. And I don't trust Martinez to organize a defense.

Sit back, put your feet up and watch England win it.

Nah. We have enough talent in the u23 team to beat Trinidad 7/10 times. There’s no excuse for losing to them with your World Cup berth on the line. That injury riddled squad got us a draw at the Azteca. It was pure hubris in Trinidad that did us in. Cameron basically said so himself

Injuries sure helped us get to that position and would have allowed us to make a some changes between games 9 and 10.

Like a healthy Brooks probably prevents Omar from having an own goal against T&T.

I feel like Germany is about as much of lock to win as ever.

Spain should have a pretty decent shot to win as well.

Would have been nice to not start Zusi at RB for 3 games (We got 2 points from those 3).
