I'm fond of Tuscaloosa, but I have a house by the lake which makes things quite a bit different I'd say than the south of Skyland living.

If I didn't move here to be near my kids we'd probably have ended up near the Tampa area.

There are some nice smaller communities near there.

Close to Nola for a day trip also close to the beach still has small town feel
