Easy there. We all want peace, and it seems like Trump is pushing all the right buttons, but Kim is unpredictable and untrustworthy. This thing could go south in a hurry.

which is very true. but the simple fact that the leaders are meeting each other and have signed something pointing towards peace is such a monumental change in the status quo from just three months ago

Did that stop the press from having wall-to-wall orgasms over Clinton and his 2000 Camp David accords with Yassir Arafat and Ehud Barak?
That ending wasn't so great, either. You wouldn't know it by reading liberal accounts of the Clinton legacy.
