exactly
i don't dislike the prospect. if we had been at 14-15 organically and had him fall to us i'd be super excited
it's the cost and requirement of immediate, elite impact. it's just not even fair for the kid
like i said last night, there are going to be lots of goalposts moving over this year

1 of all, there’s a laundry list of elite NFL pass rushers who played against “inferior” competition
Secondly, there is tape out there vs A&M, Baylor, Senior Bowl etc
Of course there is a learning curve there. Even the most polished pass rushers don’t come in and set the league on fire very often
And his “immediate impact” simply has to be applying some sort of pressure on 3rd down
