completely forgot about that
when they killed Loki ten minutes in and showed Thor and the Hulk, the two most powerful fighters, getting their asses handed to them, I felt pretty hopeless for the Avengers.
Strange and Stark and company had Thanos beaten though. At least they could have gotten the Gauntlet off. Quill completely doomed everyone.

Thanos just wrecking everyone in Wakanda truly shows how powerful he is. And honestly he could have killed all of them easily, but that's not what he wanted to do. Thanos is by far my favorite MCU villain
