I guess I'm odd for expecting excellence from myself and those around me in every situation, but if I was a math teacher and didn't have at least one of my students who was grade level proficient at math at the end of a school year, I'd quit that job in shame.

Depending on the level of math, it may not even be possible.


Can’t each a kid calculus if he thinks the answer to 2+2 is “Thomas Jefferson, sucka!”

Bullshite, you would blame it on everything but your ability or inability to reach at least one student and then lament the fact that if only you had been given a raise, you could have done your job better...
