Even if that's the case they should have realized people are extremely sensitive to this right now so maybe it wasn't the best time to start restructuring these discounts

We hold golf tournaments and participate as sponsors in other golf tournaments and sporting clay events. About half the time we do Yeti coolers for team prizes.

A few days ago I sent Yeti an email and told them not only was I not purchasing any more Yeti product but that our company will no longer purchase Yeti products for events we are involved with. When you contact Yeti you have to provide phone number, address, etc... which I gladly did.

They can take their coolers and their stickers and frick off.

quote:

Yeti is unwavering in our belief in and commitment to the Constitution of the United States and it’s Second Amendment.

That’s what I needed to hear.
I forgive you, Yeti.

When you are relaying terms like “outdated discount programs” and “alternative customization program” as well as using terms like “legacy”, you will struggle to get across your point that the NRA mischaracterized your actions.

The NRA may have stuck it to Yeti, who knows, but that press release won’t help Yeti recover significantly.

Definitely damage control.

A company that relies on outdoor enthusiasts as their customer base issues that statement before, not after they cut ties with the NRA in any aspect within this political environment.

No, looks like Yeti felt the pain of their decision and trying to redefine what they did. It took too long for them to respond. LOL at Yeti

The only way they can clean up this mess is to disclose what other large organizations were involved in the policy adjustment.

Ducks Unlimited is a huge one that comes to mind.

I think I have sniffed out what is going on here and it isn’t pretty.

Yeti doesn’t want to make products that are labeled in house with the NRA brand like they do for organizations like the NRA and DU

Example:

They are wanting out of that business and referring the NRA to third parties for the branding of their products.

That is correctly defined as seeking distance.

at these comments

Which is more likely?

1. Executives at Yeti decided to piss off their customers by giving a huge middle finger to the NRA

or

2. NRA members overreacted to some fake news
