This is why you have the opinion you do about Mainieri. You are just flat out ignorant as to the current climate of college baseball. The 90s were a long time ago. Vanderbilt has an inherent advantage over every program in the country. They can offer 100% scholarships for their entire roster through financial aid. We cannot.

O'Sullivan is a great coach and gets Florida talent.
Corbin is a great coach who recruits (and gets) nearly every New England fireballer that values a great education.
Maineri os a great coach who is recruiting at a school with amazing history, in a state with a decent level of talent (that doesn't go pro) and LSU academics.
