Is the pain/tingling radiating down to your triceps and to your fingers? A few years ago I had nerve root impingement between C5-C6 and it was incredibly painful. A friend is a trainer for the Arizona DBacks and worked on it and now I'm at almost 100% with just some slight tingling at times. Address it ASAP as it can get much worse, with some muscle atrophy that you will never get back. Consider seeing a physiatrist and getting an EMG.

The pain goes into my shoulder and down my triceps into my elbow. It’s more of a throbbing then a pins and needle feeling. Also, have several areas of muscle twitching around the area.

I tried dry needling a few weeks back and seemed to helped momentarily. Yesterday was the worst day of all and is still bothering me today

Mine was at C1-2. Pretty much the same feeling. Got it from doing BJJ. Probably the most intense pain I have experienced and almost passed out getting an MRI. Lost a ton of strength on my right side. I ended up going to a chiro, but honestly, a decompression table is what helped the most. 4 times a week plus lots of ice on my neck.
