It seems that the older generations are still spewing the "living in sin" bullshite. My wife and I lived together before we got married (but had been together for 7 years) because it's financially beneficial to not pay two rents when you are on entry level salaries. Plus you learn more about the other person living together.
Now having kids before you are married is definitely trashy. Especially with how readily available birth-control is these days, it's not hard to not get pregnant.

Living together absolutely makes sense. My gf is about to cut $1100 in rent + $350 in monthly bills out of her life by moving in
