No, he's being consistent with FIRE's mission.
FIRE is the biggest champion of free speech on campus out there. They're usually the ones leading the charge against universities not allowing conservatives to speak on campus.
This fat disgusting shitbag is probably going to be fired for the hotline thing, but to call for her removal based on what she said, no matter how vile, makes you no better than your typical SJW trying to destroy conservative voices.

You nailed it. In theory, I agree with you 100%.
In practice, though, if people from the right will get fired for their opinions, it's time people from the left get the same treatment.
