For a product thought of, created, manufactured or sold outside the state of Louisiana, this state or any state that this applies to should not collect any tax on it as it had nothing do with the processes that go into it.

And no labor or employees in the state that is attempting to collect the tax are associated with it either.

If it's sold to a Louisiana resident, then yeah the state should collect a sales tax. It's the cost of doing business in the state, like any other product
