Seems like he could possibly be the guy we are looking for. With mayfield looking destined for New York at number 3, this guy could be the qb we need. Has some things to work on, but could sit behind Brees and learn. Maybe able to trade back a bit and grab him in the second. He’s got the size, is transitioning from a shotgun o, but with a year or 2 behind drew I think he can possibly be the qb of the future

Just opening discussion with the draft getting closer

I'd rather have Aaron Brooks back.

From Walter Foorball

Weaknesses:
Struggles to throw into tight windows
Anticipation
Average arm strength
Shaky accuracy
Inconsistent field vision
Lacks escapability for the NFL
Lacks mobility for the NFL
Will need to learn working under center
Will need to learn calling plays in the huddle
Has to transition to an NFL offense
Played against a lot of weak defenses
Needs to speed up the process

I agree, he has stuff to work on. All of these qbs do.

What I’m saying is, do we think he can come in and learn within a year or two and take over

I've seen a lot of QBs like him that were awesome in college playing in spread offenses and putting up ridiculous numbers. I'm a little skeptical but I've read some positive things about him. I wasn't aware that Mike Gundy used a lot of pro concepts and let Rudolph call plays at the line and audible based on his presnap reads.

Sounds like a couple of the other points like needing to work from under center and play calling from the huddle.

Sounds like every QB in this draft class. These break downs make a lot of players sound awful.

Sarcasm. Rudolph may turn out to be good, but we have no reason to draft a QB this year.

No thank you. If he’s there in the 4th, maybe. He is an average joe, will not be a successfully nfl qb
