I’m still shocked that they pitched to Cab. First base was open, righty on lefty match up, winning run was on second anyway. Load them up and pitch for a double play. I know Slaughter was semi hot, but I’d take my chances with him rather than DC. JMO

I'm pretty sure as Daniel rounded 3rd he told the 3rd baseman "bye bitch" and put the middle finger on the back of his helmet. Watch it again if you can. Also, when Cabrera was skipping into home watch coach Cain doing the same thing it was funny.

That’s definitely good logic there, I guess they were thinking he’s a freshman and 0-4 on the day. Let’s pitch to him.
I still don’t know why they pulled their closer. They had the lead. Why have a closer? Now you just shook some confidence from two of your pitchers.
