We have a thread for the UCL between City and Liverpyule.
Roma and Barcelona in the other match.
Down in the Championship:
Aston Villa v. Cardiff City (with manager Colin Wanker having melted down after losing to Wolves)
Fulham v. Reading (who LITERALLY knocked Fulham out of the promotion playoffs last year. But Jaap Stam has been fired.
It's 1-0 to FFC with a goal by Johanssen!
A Cottagers' win and Cardiff loss, puts Fulham in second place and automatic promotion contention!

I looked on fox, NBC, and espn. Wasn't on any of those.
I dont mind the Spanish announcers. Can't understand half of what they are saying, but their intensity and emotions make up for it.

I really think so. This Toronto team is without question the best MLS team ever. Winning CCL for the first time would make them MLS legends forever. It would be a shame if they tripped at the final hurdle, since Chivas is the weakest of the 3 Mexican teams. Club America wasn’t very impressive. Tigres were way more dangerous.
Hats off to TFC. They were the laughing stock of the league for a long time, but they remained committed to investing in the team and building this dynasty. If you had told me 6-7 years ago that Toronto would beat the defending Liga MX champions and Club America on their way to the CCL final, on top of making back-to-back MLS Cups, I would have thought you were crazy.
MLS needs more teams with their level of ambition. It’s great to see.
