re: Southern Charm premiere

Currently I am summering off the coast of New England; Rhode Island to be precise. LOLOL not really summering, just up here for a short stint - it kills me how all these a holes here are "summering". Anyway, met a couple from Charleston and they say that this Ashley chick is bought and paid for to be on the show. The girl from those twitter links, also from Cali, said F no to Thomas' crazy.
They say there isn't a decent girl in the whole state of SC that would be caught dead with him. He has a violent temper and is the most self-centered a hole ever. They said with his money (he actually has a lot$) and his family name (it is robust) he shouldn't have a problem getting a decent wife or girlfriend but no one in SC will touch him w a ten foot pole.

They told a story of some wealthy polo friend of Thomas' that had a daughter in her late teens that Thomas hit on and the two men are no longer speaking.

Oh and Kathrine's family does have some decent connection to the Calhoun bloodline, but their money ran out decades ago, hence Katherine's father practically selling her off to him in Season 1. I had forgotten about that.

TIFWIW - just talk between strangers on vacation at a bar. My cousin thought that they were full of shite. Who knows???
