5 pages and no mention of the Charlie Sheen classic "The Wraith"

It was a huge deal when it aired, but The Day After (1983) has since gone to the dustbin. Maybe since it was a made for tv movie, or just that its appeal was spent when the Cold War “ended”.
Full of big names at the time; Robards, Lithgow, Guttenberg and powermilf JoBeth Williams.
As fun & carefree as the 80’s were, there was always the spectre of fiery holocaust being one bad move away.
Anyway, for anyone that wants to feel some nostaligia, the whole film is on YOUTUBE

Two films that had stellar casts that were (at the time) fairly unknown.

Dragnet. Favorite Dan Aykroyd performance. Young Tom Hanks. Kathleen Freeman has a killer bit part too.

Not sure if it's forgotten, but I loved the Beastmaster. Would watch it every time and hope every time that something changed and the ferret wouldn't die

There are way too many. I keep seeing some of them occasionally on cable. The Wraith came on the other day and I had to watch it. Hot Pursuit with John Cusack came on last week.
Movies like RAD and Real Genius are hardly forgotten, though. Movies like Dreamscape and Dragonslayer never get talked about.
