I'm a little off topic,but while Kip backed our cops, he certainly didn't keep more men on the streets, provide good cars, and build the ranks. We may have had enough Chiefs, but not enough Indians

but were any of those things Kip could actually address without the approval of the metro council? I ask cause, if Kip couldn't actually hire more cops, get them better equipment, etc. then about all he could do is back them up. At least he did that. SWB, not so much so far.

You pretty much have to have two of three things to have a decent police department. Choose two of pay, modern equipment, and supportive/encouraging leadership. Baton Rouge has none of those. Not the mention the applicant pool in BR is absolute shite.
