Well, we’ll get a lot of embarrassment, corruption, and whitey blaming, but we don’t get anything productive. Baton Rouge caterers must love her, though.

You think these are all black owned caterers?

I'm a little off topic, but while Kip backed our cops, he certainly didn't keep more men on the streets, provide good cars, and build the ranks. We may have had enough Chiefs, but not enough Indians
You pretty much have to have two of three things to have a decent police department. Choose two of pay, modern equipment, and supportive/encouraging leadership. Baton Rouge has none of those. Not the mention the applicant pool in BR is absolute shite.

He came in like a hot head and escalated the situation which resulted in someone’s death.

I have an acquaintance who refused to believe that cops shot unarmed white people. I showed her, she still carries on her little protest but stopped discussing it with me.
they have so many maggots like this in this country now

Not necessarily. I read it more as that white people are more realistic when it comes to criminals dying and that they wouldn't cause a storm over something that is trivial.

Yeah.
With the inevitable lawsuit you know is coming down the pike, it doesn’t seem like the smartest thing Paul could say.

It's the double standard.
Sucks.
If I were black I'd get sick of it too.
Two sets of rules based on your race.
I see it on this site frequently.
Say whatever you want about a white person, ,,,tread very carefully if it's the same situation however it's a minority in question.

Well, Murphy Paul is a retard being commanded by a bigger retard, so this is what you get.

Used to like Baton Rouge years ago. These days, there is no way I am going into that town and spending any money. Maybe the St. George movement will send a strong message, but I don't think SWB has the cognitive horsepower to comprehend it. Not going to comment on where it appears the BR Zoo actually relocated to.

Broome and company have already labeled supporters of the St. George effort as racists. That's the message her administration is sending out, and it will only turn more white residents of BR against her.

She single handedly will get the St George movement to pass this go round. Saddest thing of all, she will win re-election 2 more times.
If EBR wants any chance of stop the bleeding of residents moving to LP and AP, St George has to pass.

He just doesn't get it
Baton Rouge has enough programs & committees & organizations
None of that crap is going to make a criminal stop breaking the law
The problem is that this is a one way street. Preachers tell the cops want to do but the cops can't tell the preachers what to do. Plus the preachers aren't going to have any real interactions with real gangbangers

I'm hoping that south BR voters who stayed home last election day will show up in force to vote against her. She fooled a lot of people last time in how she presented herself as more of a business-friendly moderate, similar to Kip Holden. Once she got into the runoff with Bodi White, she took a hard BLM turn to pick up support from those who voted for Marcelle in the primary. If the best candidate her opposition can field is another bumpkin similar to White, then she will go win re-election easily. I keep hearing people say that Holden may run again in 2020. If so, Broome won't make it out of the primary.

I hope you are right. I hope that people remember all of this when it comes time for election. I hope Kip runs again....in reality I think she wins re-election 2 more times.

Zachary and Central/Pride have been the only growing areas of the parish but more people are leaving it altogether.
