re: Dealing with parents/in laws that try to supersede you with your kids

They don’t with me, not being a bad arse, they just don’t and my FIL doesn’t even with my wife. My MIL will fuss at my wife quite a bit about what we do with kids. I stayed out of it for years b/c it really didn’t matter, we were gonna do what we wanted anyways as far as discipline and things.

One day my MIL made the comment to my wife that she should clean our teenager daughter’s bathroom since our daughter is too tired from school and cheer, etc. She got mad my wife bitched at daughter about it. That’s when I stepped in and went to her house, told her no more. My FIL was just agreeing with me the whole time
