Two guys who like to paint the corners like Rembrandt. Our staff is going to have a hell of a 1-2 punch.

It's insane to think that Hess could go to the 3rd starter or maybe even back to closer (he would be the best in the nation, just a question of where he's most valuable).
All the growing pains of this year are going to pay dividends next season.

Hess is gone after this year.

Zack is draft eligible. I would imagine pro teams will be all over him

Hopefully he puts the team first and doesn't take that silly loophole. Same with Watson.

...wut?
You would seriously negatively judge these kids if they chose potential millions over "what's best for the team"?

Yes. When you commit to college in baseball it's for at least 3 years. The whole birthday loophole shouldn't exist but they shouldn't take advantage of if.

You are high as shite if you think kids are turning down millions to stay in school not making shite to play ball.

I disagree with you. College sports are a business and these kids deserve money they are going to get. Don’t be naive.

This is where you went wrong. When Hess and Watson committed it was for TWO years, not three.
Your quote above was just something you made up.

next yr? what are we tulane fans now? LSU needs to focus more and start playing like LSU and make THIS YR THE YR!

It's 3 years in college unless you turn 21 within 45 days of the draft. It's not a loophole, it's the rule. And it has been around for a few decades.
If you need to be pissed at someone complain to their moms for holding them bac a year.

Shut the frick up... this year was largely in trouble the second Walker had to call for the trainers against Oregon St.

This clown calling for Hess and Watson to stay was probably the dumbass that thought guice and fournette should stay too
