What hotels and to-dos can you recommend for wife and me? Dont want to spend more than 400-500 per day on room (conference taking care of most of cost so can expand a bit). I can tell this place has some baller resort and golf hotels that look like they cost an arm and leg.

TIA

Heaven on earth.

I’ve always stayed in Charleston. But I know there’s a few hotels on the island. If you can’t get into any of those, just stay in charleston or rent a house.

Also, are y’all hiring?

The Sanctuary is the place to stay there. That or rent a house. Plenty of golf out there too

I’m headed there tomorrow for a week. It will be my first time. I’d also love recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area (non golf). I’m already familiar with Charleston.

BTW, I booked a nice one bedroom villa with a screened porch on VRBO. You can rent bikes and golf carts to use on the island. There’s a marina just outside the entrance where you can rent all types of boats, kayaks or charters. I know the marina has some restaurants too.

Probably a better place to live than vacation because it was just nice homes and fantastic golf when we went there years ago. But, it is really tranquil and of course on the ocean. We went to Charleston for fun.

Relax and Have Fun!!
