Kiawah Island...anyone been?

Heaven on earth.

I’ve always stayed in Charleston. But I know there’s a few hotels on the island. If you can’t get into any of those, just stay in charleston or rent a house.

Also, are y’all hiring?

I’m headed there tomorrow for a week. It will be my first time. I’d also love recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area (non golf). I’m already familiar with Charleston.

BTW, I booked a nice one bedroom villa with a screened porch on VRBO. You can rent bikes and golf carts to use on the island. There’s a marina just outside the entrance where you can rent all types of boats, kayaks or charters. I know the marina has some restaurants too.

Just got back. From what I gather there is only one hotel, The Sanctuary. There are so many options otherwise. Just sift through some realty websites online. Honestly I’d feel cooped up in a hotel at Kiawah. There are tons of condos and neighborhoods tucked away and everywhere feels private. It really is a utopia. We had a blast. Rented bikes, rented a boat at the Bohicket Marina, walked the dogs on the beach every morning. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions.
