Also, SC still hasn't explained why no one has hired E to run their offense in 20 years until numbnuts Alleva did it.

Worst composite nat rank since 2002. You're a frickin' joke.

I'm quite optimistic for the upcoming season. Ensminger is one reason for that. He's already showed Tiger fans he can call plays...fact. This will be confident Offense.
The only problem I foresee is a very difficult schedule ahead. For so many shiny Tiger fans nothing is accepatable but an undefeated season. Good luck with that friends.

And there it is. You just ended your own side of the argument.

Is there an echo in here? Yes, he has shown he can call plays against inferior teams as Space Cowboy has pointed out in another thread. But, has he proven he can build an offense and communicate it to the players?

This sums it up perfectly.

You need to research the many coaches who SE worked for and worked with. There are many of them and they were all blown away by his knowledge of the offense, by his ability to break down and design plays, and by his play calling.

Not to mention, that Dave Aranda also said that when he started working for Les Miles and when they would have pre-game meetings to discuss offensive strategy, that he picked out SE as the smartest person in the room.

Aranda has said that when he grows up he wants to be just like SE because they both hate dealing with the general public and because they are both very hard workers.

And maybe you don't realize it, but SE is the number one offensive coordinator in O and Dave Aranda's minds.

So now Les Miles is smart and knew what he was doin by consulting with Steve E ?

If you want to see a joke, go look in the mirror loon. As you obviously don't have a clue about recruiting and about football.

All of this still doesn't equal building and implementing an offense from scratch and communicating that to the players. Can he do it? We don't know, but you've been saying that he can and that O thinks he's the best best coordinator in the country. How could he know that if the guy hasn't done it in 20 years?

Also, why should anyone trust O's ability to identify who the best coordinator in the country is after the crap that happened last year?

LSU fans preseason

Coach O just made a brilliant hire in Coach Canada, one of the top coordinators in the country, did yall see him torch up Clemson's defense? Excellent hire by Coach O

LSU Fans Postseason

Canada sucks and is trash, he is a cancer and must be fired, he does not know what he is doing.

Why is it whenever O and SE win games it is always only against inferior teams. If that doesn't prove that you loons are obsessed O haters then nothing does. Would you guys be any happier if he lost to inferior teams instead? With you O haters, O is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. indeed, he can't win for losing. He may as well just blow his brains out, and even that wouldn't make you losers happy. As you all would spit on his damn grave!

YOU were the one that said Miles had an antique offense and that Ensminger was handcuffed because the other teams knew what was coming, but against the lesser teams it worked anyways. That's straight from one of your posts and that's exactly what I said in the text you quoted.

I have no idea what you quoted has to do with what you posted.

I love how when people like holes in your arguments you go straight to the "hater" comments. I'm simply pointing out obvious inconsistencies and contradictions in your statements.

I am not here to bash Steve E, hope he does well

But how do you actually know he can install and run an offense after haven't done it in over 20 years, and on top of that to be able to succeed vs top defenses

he did well vs the inferior teams in 2016 but had major difficulties vs the two competent defenses he faced.

Its a fair question to ask

And the same people to trash Canada are saying Steve E didn't have his QB when he ran the 2016 offense but the same can be said about Canada and Danny E, wasn't his QB either.
