Well said. I didn’t want to be that guy, but the book was better. I really enjoyed the movie though. I get the rights to certain things couldn’t be had and some editing would have to be done.

What I didn’t like was Z not finding the first challenge at the school land. The theme was anyone could find the egg.

I didn’t like how Art3mis gave herself up and conceded Wade being the hero. She was going for it the entire time in the book. It added to the love interest. Her leaving Wade and him being heartbroken and doing stupid stuff in the meantime was lost as well.

Also, the challenges were kinda dumb down IMO. In the book, each challenge was three parts (finding the challenge, playing a game, then quoting a movie) here, it was a race or a movie or whatnot. And no one ever went to the Shining before?


I still enjoyed it, and I don’t usually like 3D, but it was good for this movie.
