I am not a troll. I want to hear solutions.

Prevent?
Prevent means "never happens" so, the answer is nothing.
Do you mean to ask what can reduce them?

The elimination of political correctness.
The shooter would have never been allowed to carry this attack out had there not been an institutional effort at every level to not discipline him or act upon obvious, common sense warning signs.
Common sense has been eliminated from society in the interest of emotional platitudes and feelings. Therein lies your problem

Solutions to very rare occurrences in life is an immature fantasy.

You’re saying that kids perform better when in well rounded households with both male and female influences to teach them and guide them through their formative years?
You fricking racist

I’m calling everyone on this: don’t name the shooter. If you want to stop gun violence, stop glorifying the murderers.

I think this should be one of the few things we agree about.

I can tell you what would have stopped Parkland. The FBI or Steve's Stalwart's doing their jobs. That prevents Cruz from ever purchasing the AR15 to start with, and he is likely locked up someplace so he can't buy it anyhow.
I think we have enough laws on the books. One... actually enforce them. We should improve our database to make sure those that do not need to buy weapons cannot get them.
We do need armed well trained security at our schools, teachers that wish to be armed should be vetted trained and allowed to do so. Schools should have plans in place and frequent drills so as to be ready if they need to be.
We don't have a gun problem, we have a people problem. Some of these kids are broken and a serious effort needs to be put in to find out why.

I think you take the internet way too serious
Posted on 3/27/18 at 9:04 pm to OMLandshark
I completely agree with you on that point. The 24 hr media cycle has to come to that realization. Sooner than later
Posted on 3/27/18 at 9:05 pm to OMLandshark
Can we see definite proof of any of these shooters?
Just once?
Just once?

But, I assumed the OP was asking how we could prevent ALL such acts. And, the answer to that is nothing.

I wish this could be the case. However, sadly these incidents are too good for the media to pass up. Society won’t stop until the media that drives society stops
Unfortunately, unless and until the national news media puts the betterment of society and furtherance of responsible, informed discussion above ratings (this has never and will never happen) it will never change
