I'm not from NC, so I don't really care here, but this kind of stuff is unacceptable to me. It's no a lot different than letting a snot nosed kid on national tv to declare the NRA are killers. This kind of shite, and the acceptance of it, is what going to set off trouble that we have no solution for.

In the context of the overall statement, it sounds like he is passively aggressively implying that after they are killed for not handing over their guns, the gov will confiscate them ex post facto. Kind of like "we can get them the easy way or the hard way."
