I’m so happy they won, so why am I letting the judges piss me off so bad? Also, some people are saying we finally got deductions that should have been taken all year, so maybe I just don’t know what I’m looking at or maybe it’s the same old people who constantly rag on LSU. I will never understand why the people who run these major ncaa gymnastics sites hate LSU so much. Such a vile group of people for the most part.

No problem with LSU being deducted when warranted, its just been the over scoring all year for Florida and Oklahoma. It took two major fall tonight for Florida to even get scored reasonably.

I’d buy the whole “LSU getting more fair scores/the scores they’ve been deserving” arguments I’ve seen on Twitter and certain gym blogs tonight if those same people acknowledged the differences in scoring between us and Florida and Alabama (especially Alabama). The deductions were no the same for all the teams. Our 9.85 scores were noticeable better than their 9.85 scores. It was so noticably inconsistent it’s laughable. No wonder DD was pissed despite the victory. If the judges goal was to view these routines with a more fairer, moris narrow, “post-season lens,” then it should be applied to all teams. The other teams had the opposite happen to them.

Personally this has been a complete failure of a season for Jenny Rowland at Florida
you return every routine from last year, add the #1 recruiting class which were all international elites/former national team members and put up the performances that they did. If they couldn't win it this year they are in for hell next year when they lose Alex Mcmurtry, Rachel Slocum and Baker.
LSU heavily relied on freshman and brand new routines all year and without Mckenna Kelley.
Shows you where the coaching is in this conference.
