Kind of misleading because it doesn’t break down the at fault rates of the 25-85 group

Sure, but it's a valid criticism/hurdle for the industry right now. You're less likely to be involved in an accident riding with a random 50 year old than you are in a Google Waymo vehicle. That's a costly proposition at the moment.

That being said, the incidents with self-driving vehicles tend to be minor, so while the last study on injuries in 2015 noted higher rates among self-driving passengers, their fatality rates were much lower (0 deaths).
