You’d be surprised how often they are on autopilot.
And how much their manual input is “interpreted” by flight avionics.
How’d you feel about a car that was manually driven but would disregard or modify the human input depending on what the computer thought was logical in that situation?
Because we’ve been flying that way for decades.
