if you dont say the truth you just get the same crap served to you again.
if you dont know how to tell her you love her but that food sucked then the marriage is doomed. you lie about meaningless BS, you never lie about staples of marriage like food money or sex.
works for me, if it doesnt work for you then that is all on you.
my old lady dont care about hurt feelings over honesty if it means you dont lie to her. when she is rushed for time she grabs takeout food for both of us or warns me to grab something on the way home, and we are both happy
