Depends how tall you are.

Wade Hooper is 5-3 165 and owns WR in squat around 850 or so at that BW, but his DL is sub 600.

Short arms + smaller hands (for hook grip) = a lower DL.

Depends on whether you're geared or raw too (when talking competitions). Geared lifters always have higher squats bc you get way more out of a suit on squat vs dead.

For this question, it also matters if you're going touch and go on bench or dead. My numbers are all paused, but I'm pretty sure I could eke some extra lbs out if I bounced.

We had a 10 minute EMOM yesterday with 3 DLs AHAP. I struggled with 225. Had it been squats, I'm guessing I could have done 275 in that format with no problem at all. Something is not right.
