Looking to learn what everyone likes and hopefully "WHY".

I am not an avid smoker but I am from Cuba and my partner is a "Certified Master Cigar Roller from Cuba" w 21 years of experience who had his own cigar factory, now residing in Dallas.

He is very familiar with ALL Cuban Labels and I am learning, but not familiar with labels from other countries.

I hope to learn about non-Cuban brands. If you have a question about cigars.. ask, I will ask him, and hopefully get an answer.

Nevertheless SHARE YOUR PRIDE.

I'm far from being an expert.

If I had to pick something off the top of my head I would say the Rocky Patel 1992 and 1990 are my favorites. Sadly, I can never remember which of the two I like the best.

Right now I have some Tabak Especials (Drew Estate) and some CAO Moontrance. Both are flavored. Chocolate. Like both of them.

In the past I have enjoyed the Man O' War Virtue.

May have to try a chocolate one...
Currently working on a TX Whiskey and a Jack Daniels marinaded one. Have done Tequila, Rum, Red Wine and Courvoisier...very good. Tried a Kahlua ... bad idea.

La Flor Dominicana
Oliva Serie V
My Father
Diesel Unholy Cocktail
PDR 1878 Maduro

These are a few that I like. I usually buy samplers from Famous-smoke.com because I don't like smoking the same ones over and over.

Arturo Fuente 8-5-8, natural wrapper, have been my go to cigar for over 20 years now. They are consistent in flavor and make a great smoke. The flavor profile is sweet with a light spice and earthy. Very Good, affordable smoke.

are you certian about that?

I have a couple dozen of them and they are all coffee flavored, the only infused cigar I will smoke.

I’ve tried to get into cigars. Smoked one the other night with a bourbon and it was enjoyable. But I felt like dogshit afterwards. The cigar was a Perdomo Habano Connecticut that the cigar shop recommended. Any tips besides stop being a pussy?

That one is pretty mellow according to the reviews.

I probably smoke 24-36 cigars per year and sometimes I stand up and feel buzzed, and not the pleasant kind either.

When I smoke I tend to finish them down to the nub because I am really relaxing and enjoying. That might have something to do with it.

Probably the only answer.

Come up with a contest, I will try also
(I will choose which one) and I will give away a 6 Pack of Fresh hand Rolled Cigars from our store. YOUR STRENGTH/STYLE of choice.
Maybe the wackiest pic or ? for men and if women the sexiest (no nudity) ???
...while smoking a cigar
give a 6 pk for each winner. ???? Run this for while until enough pics ??

what say you ?

Perdomo Reserve Champagne and Partagus #2's probably are my favorite 2 everday sticks with R&J 1875's in the rotation as well.

I pass through either LHR or AMS every few months and pick up a box of Cubans of some sort to savor as well, last trip was Monticriso #2's, as good as advertised.
