He is actually excited about Trump meeting with NK and that Trump is uniquely qualified to talk to Kim, and he’s pissed at the media for saying this is a disaster: LINK

Bill is pure evil, but he is the biggest liberal who calls out the liberal hypocrisy, especially re: muslims.

Because he’ll call out liberals on their bullshite. Maher is rightfully ecstatic that Trump is talking with Kim, and then called out liberals for being ecstatic when Obama proposed this when he was a candidate.

They’re hypocrites. He isn’t though since he’s standing by what he wanted Obama to do but didn’t, and since Trump is doing what Obama promised to do Maher is standing by what he liked about Obama’s false promise.

think about how fricked up the left is today in 2018.

Bill Maher is legitimately considered a "moderate" Democrat now by most on his side because he won't bow down and worship their SJW nonsense.

Bill is a Liberal and rarely fricks with other Liberals, he is not a big fan of progressives however and calls them out all the time.

He dealt with Obama about the same way evangelicals are dealing with Trump, sometimes you have to just say frick it, he is our guy.

It’s even worse, and I’m sure he would agree with every word I’m about to say: he’s now the most right wing late night host. He knows that is fricking depressing since he should be the most left wing host. His response to this would be “Why the frick don’t I have competition from Dennis Miller or Norm Macdonald?”

It’s fricking insane that Maher is the most right wing late night host these days, and he realizes this. Thank God Netflix finally gave Norm a show. Please do a nightly show from the Right.

I would very seriously lunge punch Maher in his bigass nose if I ever stood face to face with him. The charges would absolutely be worth it.

But, every great once in awhile, he makes a point that just leaves me with a little smile, and saying to myself, "right on."

What happened to your Maher boycott after your two day melt on here over something he did?

I still don’t watch him in HBO, but I’ll occasionally check out his New Rules.

Well he hates Trump as a person and the majority of his policies, but I think he’s intellectually honest enough when Trump does a good thing. Like he praised Trump for having the balls to recognize Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel.

Norm is not, and has never been, conservative or right wing. He has as little in common with the GOPe as he does with corporate Democrats. He is a goddamn astute political observer, though.

I’d say Norm is more conservative than Liberal. He openly despises both of the Clintons (they must have never heard his material to let him host the White House Correspondents Dinner), is a huge fan of Ronald Reagan, and he is very much a Christian. Definitely not hard right, but I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if he voted for Trump.

EDIT: I just assumed Norm became an American citizen since he’s lived here for 30 years, but he isn’t.

He just never outgrew being a humble farmboy from Ottawa, probably the closest thing to a "centrist" as you can get. He has respect for traditions and the rule of law and contempt for those who seek to disregard the same. I imagine he would be in favor of more government spending and regulation than any self-described (economic) conservative would be.

It's amazing how smart people seem when they lack the veneer of partisanship.
