What exactly is a "fitness model"? (NSFW)

This chick, Hope Beel, is a "fitness model." That moniker is thrown about a lot, and I think it simply means "hot chick who works out and tries to create as much traffic as possible for her photos on the internet." The vast majority of the photos seem to have nothing to do with "fitness." There is plenty of lingerie and bikinis. (And hey, I'm not complaining, I just don't understand the descriptor.)
I think this is just a point where capitalism and narcissism meet. Let's just not pretend we are dealing with something that is all about health and fitness.

Yep. Where women can make money off of really gullible and hard up dudes.
True fitness models have agencies and make big bucks, but there's only a handful of them. Most are wannabes.
