Get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. drill holes in the bottom and add those little rabbit bottle drippers into the bottom. I bought the drippers from amazon for cheap. Of course you have to hang the bucket but it works for about $5. I've been using this set up for 2 years no chicken shite in the water.

good suggestion. Or get a waterer thats rounded at the top so they cant stand on it. Got one from tractor supply.
