That is standard boilerplate stuff from a US Attorney in criminal proceedings. You say you are not guilty, the FBI and prosecutor say that if you find sufficient evidence to charge a person, then obviously you must conclude they were lying because they are saying they are not guilt.

It's the whole, if I can't get you for murder, I'll get you for jaywalking at the time of the murder.

I've yet to see any indictments on these folks...besides, Congress lies to the people all of the time, why not return the favor.....also there is no evidence these people lied.
