I know there are Sauger north of Packwick dam, I can’t remember if we caught walleye or not

The MS State Record for Walleye is 9.66 lbs caught @ Iuka, MS (Tn River/Pickwick) on 1/19/85

We caught a Sauger in the intercostal canal in Brusly. Didn’t know what the hell it was.
