I feel sorry for people like you. Here you are, a professed liberal or progressive. Your kind are supposed to stand up for the oppressed and downtrodden, yet you reflexively support the most illiberal and autocratic policies of the American political establishment that disproportionately affect minorities.
Who do you think most of the American casualties are in our overseas wars? Poor white kids and minorities. Historically, who do you think are the primary targets of secret domestic surveillance? Radical progressives and revolutionaries. Who are the targets of the FBI's fake terror plots used to entrap citizens into criminal conspiracies? Disenchanted and disillusioned minorities.
I've never understood how critical theory progressives can, on one hand, talk about the evils of institutionalized prejudice in government, yet simultaneously mock civil libertarians for advocating the destruction or scaling back of said institution.

I’m trying to figure out what it is you think I support that wasn’t either voted on or otherwise subject to oversight by my elected representatives.
