I have zero doubt that the proliferation of human civilization has effected the earth in *some* way, and would probably have a major impact if we continued with our current technology for an infinite amount of time.
But what the global warming (now climate change) people always fail to leave out is that the earth has been operating in these - and FAR more extreme - cycles since it's creation some 4.5 billion years ago. Hell the most recent ice age began about 25 million years ago and randonly began thawing only 12k years ago to reach the current form of the earth/climate. Homosapiens and many animals that are still around today were there during the thaw, but they didnt quite have cars and factories spewing chemicals into the air yet. The earth has been steadily warming since then, and when you're talking millions and billions of years 12,000 is the blink of an eye.
TLDR - this warming began 12k years ago at the end of the last ice age and continues now
