How so? Where in the new testament does it state your leader must always be of the highest virtue and God like behavior or your a hypocrite?

Sure, as long as you realize it is gross hypocrisy.
So I guess that a Christian couldn't really vote in the 2016 election, then. Vote for Trump... hypocrite because he slept with many women... vote for Hillary.. hypocrite because she supports murdering babies in the womb. I pick the lesser of the two.

Stephanie is washed up. Now, she and her agent are doing their level best to extend her 15 minutes. That’s what all this amounts to. Attention (and other kinds of) whores gonna attention whore.
Maybe it has more to do with those two than with everyone else being out to get them?
ETA: And David Dennison LOL. John Baron, John Miller.
This fricking guy and his aliases. I wonder how many he's used.

Because those same evangelicals are hyper concerned about the sex lives of the gay community and want to deny them the opportunity to legally wed each other.

I know a handful of Christians, including 2 Baptist ministers, that did just that.

I still don't see the hypocrisy, given that their opposition to those issues is based on the same-sex aspect of them. And gay marriage is now the law of the land, so it's a moot point.

At least you're honest enough to admit you can't explain the purported hypocrisy.

So is abortion, so by your logic, they shouldn't have that as a voting issue anymore.

Agreed, even thought that has no bearing to the issue at hand.

well the media has a lot to do with it
the media was reluctant to report on negative things about Obama's past. the best example is Rev. Wright
the media today is looking for literally anything it can to attack Trump, b/c the DEM-coordinated media (which is most of the major outlets) have had their brains rotted out with TDS
in addition, the media wasn't paying anyone money for exclusive stories to attack Obama. they are doing that for Trump
Stormy isn't gong to pay back $130k to tell her story without getting a nice paycheck from the media and other financial concerns

That and potentially exposing a campaign finance violation by the president and his personal lawyer.

It doesn't need to be explained to anyone with a functioning brain capable of critical thought.

that depends. does that voting lead to potential swings of the Supreme Court? if so, they're both voting issues
that's the problem with judicial activism and engaging in federal policymaking from the bench

I guess they would have picked someone other than David to lead Israel or Rahab to help Joshua as well.

look brah, you're too stupid to understand a simple argument i've yet to make, and i refuse to make it b/c it's a waste of my time b/c it's so simple...but i'll continue to gloat and shine my brain over here with multiple posts implying you're dumb b/c that is worth my time

I will dissect his argument for him. The assumption is that Evangelicals are hypocritical because they support Trump, who allegedly cheated on his wife, but are also against gay marriage. The hypocrisy would have to be based on something Trump did that was similar to what gay people did, cheat on their spouse. Given that Evangelicals are against gay marriage, they could not possibly even reach the step of a gay spouse cheating on another gay spouse. Actual hypocrisy would be if they were against gay marriage infidelity, but okay with traditional marriage infidelity. Clearly that isn't the case.

Actually the evangelical argument is being against sex outside of marriage. Since they believe that gay marriage isn't recognized by God then they are therefore sinning.
Trump has admitted to/bragged about sex outside of marriage. That is where the hypocrisy is.

and, as i explained previously (possibly in another thread), the Evangelicals have become much more nuanced in their policy positions and candidate choices. they care a lot more about supporting Israel than their candidate having an affair (Especially so long ago). they've also stopped requiring absolute righteousness in their candidates, and have adopted a very partisan mentality regarding the dangers of the DEM offering. sure, Trump may not be their ideal candidate, but they don't ever get the choice of their ideal guy, and Trump is much more align with their policy goals than Clinton would have been. why would this revelation (that everyone already knew) make any impact?
