Stop cherry picking.

Many states cut taxes over last 8 years and ended up having bigger surpluses/revenues than before the tax reform.

Ohio, Utah, North Carolina are some examples.

OTOH, Connecticut raised taxes bigly and currently has the worst fiscal condition of any state in the nation.

The point? You can't deduce the validity of a certain worldview by only looking at one state. Economic performance is based on an innumerable amount of factors, many unique to individual states. You can't compare it apples to apples.

Now Kansas is an outlier? When Brownback took over and pledged to cut taxes to basically 0, Kansas was hailed as the model for conservative politics nationwide. Now they’re bankrupt and you don’t want to talk about it anymore.

OK, I’ll go closer to home. What happened after eight years of Bobby Jindal?
