Every year it seems I feel like I'm about to get into it, I have a team with a few players I like, and then I peter out. Usually the early summer is my peak interest and it goes downhill as the summer ends and Europe starts.

I know I'm preaching the choir that the season is schedule wrong - but it really is.

So....what and who should I be looking at that will make this the year it keeps my interest?

That’s the softest shite I’ve ever heard..

But to answer OP, ATL is the most exciting team to follow.

Nah.

Forcing yourself to care about something is a pretty good way to ensure disappointment.

I'm not forcing myself - every year there's a team or some players that really capture my interest, but it fades quickly. I'm looking for someone to tell me what keeps their interest when EPL, college football starts up, etc.

DC United’s first home game at Audi Field is in July. Looking forward to that. It’s going to be in an awesome location right down the street from Nats park. They’re really cleaning up that part of SE DC.

Maybe now DC won’t be cheap and can bring in an old superstar from Europe.
